West Highlands
I took this day tour to the West Highlands out of Inverness, specifically to Torridon, the most dramatic mountains in Scotland; a tiny village called Applecross for lunch in a charming inn; Eileen Donan Castle, a romantic 13th century castle; and an overlook of Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness. We experienced a bit of rain coming down from Torridon and at Eileen Donan Castle. It was a beautiful part of the country. The last 4 images are taken out of the bus window on the route to Skye, through the West Highlands area.
