Lavender

My friend Diane and I timed our holiday to coincide with the peak of the lavender and sunflower season, which was in July and we weren't disappointed!  The fields were awesome.  We were treated to a foggy morning mist on the first day of lavender shooting.   The main lavender growing  area is located around the charming little village of Valensole with smaller pockets scattered around Sault and the villages of the Vauclause.
