Villages
For the time I spend in Perigord Region I use the beautiful feudal village of Beynac as a base. It is a very hilly village with a brooding medieval fortress at the top. The mornings in autumn greet you with lovely misty light along the river banks. Other villages include Sarlat, Domme, La Rocque Gageac, Collenges-la-Rouge and Carennac shown in a separate gallery.
