Amsterdam
Amsterdam is easygoing, prosperous and full of canals lined with trees, townhouses topped with fancy gables, bridges and museums. It has about 800,000 residents and almost as many bikes. It also has more canals than Venice. Delft is perhaps the prettiest town in all of Holland. The facades of the Renaissance and Gothic houses reflect age-old beauty with linden trees bending over its gracious canals. Both the windmills in Kinderdijk and the De Haar castle are located close to Delft.
