Backyard Birds
INTRODUCTION
I live in a bungalow condo which has a nice sized deck & small backyard with some grass & lots of trees. In the past couple of years I developed a keen interest in birds & in photographing these beautiful creatures ... from the comfort of my deck in the summer & through the kitchen patio doors in the winter. My home & these feathered friends have become my sanctuary during this horrid time of covid.
I have divided the images into 2 groupings. The 1st is Winter/Fall & below it is Spring/Summer. Once you've viewed the 1st group, you can move to Spring/Summer by clicking on its 1st image.
The types of birds include: Blue Jay, Cardinal, Black Capped Chickadee, Red Breasted Nuthatch, White Breasted Nuthatch, House Finch, House Sparrow, American Tree Sparrow, White Throated Sparrow, White Crowned Sparrow, Downey Woodpecker, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, American Goldfinch, Mourning Dove, Dark Eyed Junco, Robin, Black Headed Cowbird, Northern Flicker, Red Winged Blackbird, Common Grackle & Carolina Wren. I have not captioned the well recognized types of bird, but have for the less common ones.
