Bruges is very pretty and a photographer's dream with its pointy gilded,  medieval Gothic architecture, charming cafes, squares and graceful canals.  Its Begijnhof, which is a Benedictine nun's courtyard as shown in the last images, is  a beautiful cluster of 17th century, whitewashed houses surrounded by a lawn with poplar trees and flowers.
