Edinburgh,, Alnwick Castle & Northhumberland Coast
EDINBURGH
Edinburgh is a lovely city. Its architecture and cobbled lanes are what I imagine it was like in the Harry Potter world. (JK Rowling still resides in Edinburgh.) I visited Edinburgh Castle, an old fortress perched on top of a volcanic hill, the nooks and crannies of the old town and had a fun tour of the Camera Obscura & World of Illusions.
ALNWICK CASTLE, NORTHHUMBERLAND COAST
This one day tour from Edinburgh included Alnwick Castle (where some of Harry Potter films were shot), the ruins of Kelso Abbey and the Northhumberland coast.
