Butterflies

Living in the Niagara Region, I am fortunate to live close to the Butterfly Conservatory.  I have enjoyed visiting this wonderful sanctuary a number of times to capture the many different species of these beautiful, delicate creatures.  Here are some of my favourite images.

Just after publishing this page, my cousin Jake sent me his stunning image of, we think, two butterflies mating.  I am very pleased to add this to my collection but I am envious that it isn't mine!
